Woodward High school is a comprehensive high school located in North Toledo that has over 100 years of history and graduating classes. The school is open to all students and can provide a pathway to any future the student desires.
Career Technologies, College Prep and Service in our armed forces are all life plans available and provide formidable pathways for success. Woodward has always been a culturally diverse school that historically has blended many different and diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Traditionally, Woodward and north Toledo is a hard-working community that is one built on hard work, community support and dedication to improve and provide a healthy and productive family environment. Woodward high school is an
extension of that cultural fiber.
At Woodward we offer, students a wide range of choices. Our students are college bound, leaders, charitable and service oriented and hard working. Students at Woodward can participate in leadership organizations, student government, athletics, band, orchestra and choir. They can join clubs, activities and organizations that grow our population.
Students can also explore career pathways in Diesel Technologies, Supply Chain Management, Printing and Graphic Design/Marketing and introductory business and software application careers.
Woodward has a long history of performance experiences. Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band opportunities as well as Orchestra and Choir are offered. Fine Arts and a variety of artistic classes round out our opportunities in the arts.
A full range of athletic sports for both men and women are offered, Football has experience city championships, our Basketball team has reached men’s regional finals and State Championships for women’s basketball. We even have a State champion in Rugby. Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer sports are offered.
